Creepy, Kooky, Freaky, Spooky, Corrugated Halloween Tag

Although it’s been a bit warm and humid the past few days, the days are definitely getting shorter and the leaves here in Maine are starting to change into amazing shades of red, orange and yellow. Fall is on the doorstep, so that means I’m beginning to think about Halloween.

I saw someone use a tag made of corrugated cardboard a few months ago and I loved the look, so when my latest Amazon order came in, I grabbed the box, traced one of my oversized tags and cut it out.  Then I carefully peeled back sections of the top layer to reveal the corrugated ‘bones’ underneath.  I really love the look.

To be truthful, I still feel the completed tag is missing something, but here is the step by step video so you can follow along and see how I created my creepy, kooky, freaky, spooky tag. [A complete materials list is below the video.]
